Mr. Burdell began his real estate career in 1996 as an industrial tenant representative with King Industrial Realty, where he was responsible for managing existing tenant relationships, and developing new tenant representation business for the firm. In 2001, Mr. Burdell joined NAI Brannen Goddard’s growing tenant representation and corporate services team where he focused on site selection, lease analysis, and negotiations for major corporate clients including Westrock, Louis Dreyfus Corp., Pfizer, Rheem Manufacturing, and the Coca-Cola Company.
In 2019 Mr. Burdell started Strategic Real Estate Partners, LLC with J.R. Wright where he represents institutional and corporate clients in leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, build-to-suits, development, and consulting. Additionally, while at Reliant Real Estate Partners, LLC and Strategic Real Estate Partners, LLC, Mr. Burdell has structured several complex acquisitions both as a principal investor and on behalf of his institutional and private equity clients. Mr. Burdell also holds the SIOR and CCIM designations.
During his real estate career, Mr. Burdell has been named by the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors as a Top Producer. Additionally, he has received the CoStar Power Broker distinction and Prologis Broker of the Year multiple years. Mr. Burdell attended the University of Georgia in Athens where he earned a Bachelors of Business Administration in International Business. Mr. Burdell is married with two sons and a daughter, and lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
